Sighthem Terms of Service
By using the Sighthem platform, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully.
1. Parties and Scope
These terms constitute the agreement between Sighthem and the individual user and/or the legal entity they represent ("Customer"). By registering or using the platform, you accept these terms.
2. Service Description
Sighthem is a cloud-based SaaS platform for import/export SMEs covering customer management, shipment tracking, proforma invoice generation, sanctions compliance screening, document management, email communication, and business operations tools.
3. Account Requirements
- Sighthem is designed exclusively for businesses and individuals using it for commercial purposes.
- You must be at least 18 years old or represent a business to create an account.
- Each workspace may belong to only one business; account information must be accurate and kept up to date.
- The Customer is responsible for account security and preventing unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Sighthem for the following purposes:
- Conducting trade with individuals or entities on active sanctions lists
- Sending spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or deceptive communications
- Distributing malware or gaining unauthorized access to systems
- Performing actions that negatively affect the platform's security or performance
- Any unlawful activity
5. Third-Party Integrations
Sighthem integrates with third-party APIs to provide certain features. Use of these integrations is optional and also subject to the respective service's own terms.
Google Gmail API
When a user connects their Gmail or Google Workspace account via Google OAuth 2.0, Sighthem uses this access solely to send emails on the user's behalf. Data obtained from Google APIs is not used for advertising, is not sold to third parties, and is not read by Sighthem employees. The connection can be revoked at any time.
Microsoft 365 Account Integration
When a user connects their Microsoft 365 account via OAuth 2.0, Sighthem uses this access solely to send emails on the user's behalf. Data is processed only for service delivery.
Bulk Email Infrastructure
Bulk email campaigns are delivered via EU region (Germany) servers. The user adds DNS records to authorize sending on behalf of their domain; no password or OAuth authorization is required.
6. Intellectual Property
- The software, design, and content of the Sighthem platform belong to Sighthem.
- Data uploaded by the Customer (customer lists, shipment data, documents) belongs to the Customer.
- The Customer grants Sighthem a limited license to process this data.
7. Payment and Subscription
For payment terms, refund, and cancellation policy, see Distance Sales Agreement and Pre-Information Form. Payment infrastructure is provided by a PCI DSS-compliant third-party payment service provider; card details are not stored on Sighthem servers.
8. Limitation of Liability
Sighthem does not guarantee that the service will operate without interruption or error. Sighthem's liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages is limited to the subscription fee paid in the relevant period.
Sighthem does not guarantee the completeness of sanctions lists or compliance databases. Compliance decisions remain the user's responsibility.
9. Service Changes and Interruptions
- Sighthem reserves the right to modify or remove features without prior notice.
- Significant changes will be announced via email or platform notification.
- Maintenance windows are scheduled outside business hours where possible.
10. Termination
- The Customer may cancel their account at any time.
- Sighthem may suspend or terminate an account without prior notice in case of a violation of these terms.
- After account closure, Customer data is deleted within 30 days; billing records are retained for legally required periods.

12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Turkish law. Istanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over any disputes arising between the parties.
